With over 25 years of experience teaching movement, Sarah has gained a wealth of knowledge including yoga, pilates and somatics. This combined with extensive training in developmental and shock trauma and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, enables her to create a safe space for every body. Gentle, light and educated touch is used to help move the client through stuck areas of tension and constriction, facilitating physical and sometimes emotional release.
This integrative approach to working with the body encourages the client to let go of movement patterns that are no longer helpful. Slowly, the body’s intelligence is able to remember its original freedom and move from deep awareness and connection.
Movement Therapy is suitable for all but particularly helpful for clients who suffer from high levels of stress, anxiety or PTSD, for whom a group situation may be uncomfortable.
